There is rain over there.

There was rain in the distance, but none of the rain was reaching this far east. As we drove from the Southeastern New Mexico desert into the mountains, it was obvious where all the rain was falling. Things were fresh and green around Cloudcroft. This little valley is part of the Powell Ranch now. My mom says it used to be the Longbottom Ranch when she was young.
